Zen in steel and stone is my realization of my friend Steve Okawa’s vision of a Zen garden that he conceived a quarter of century ago and I have learned about relatively recently. Had to do it. The steel plate and a granite river rock sculpture is a study I did to prepare my self to do the main event, to set three granite river rocks Steve has selected in a bronze plate.
I have the steel, the only piece of art for arts sake that I own. Steve has the bronze.
